Cape Diamond Wines, a fully owned subsidiary of Lutzville Vineyards with its offices based in Paarl, is looking for a highly experienced Sales & Marketing Manager with a proven track record to take responsibility for packed wine sales in primarily the international bottle market. The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills, has a results-oriented personality, and shows pride, passion, and commitment towards the success of the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Maintaining and growing existing customers/markets *Identifying, developing, and growing new customers/markets *International sales, pricing and brand strategy per customer/market *Monitoring changing trends and marketing indicators *International tenders *Managing and attending international shows *Monitor income, expenditure and sales in line with budget *Reporting and all other tasks associated with the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing or Commerce; • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar position in the wine industry; • Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies; • Extensive knowledge of wine and the wine industry; • Knowledge of key export markets is essential; • Outstanding negotiation skills and business acumen; • Problem-solving and analytical skills; • Flexibility and willingness to travel.
