Philagro SA, a leading supplier of quality agricultural products, has an opportunity available for an ambitious Row Crop expert to become a Technical Product Manager. The main focus of the role will be to build a client base and drive their offering in the row crop industry (maize, soybeans, sunflowers, peanuts & dried beans). The successful candidate will be working across all row crop regions in South Africa, and will ideally be based within the Free State or North West province. Duties will be focused on plant growth regulators & mycorrhizae, and will include *technical support at grower & agent level *product training of distributing agents *sales of products relevant to row crops *management of budgets *product stewardship *all other tasks related to the role. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • A relevant BSc qualification (MSc preferred); • 5 - 8 years' experience, specifically with row crops; • A background with plant physiology will be beneficial; • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English); • Willingness to travel.
