Du Preez Estate, situated at the foot of the Du Toitskloof Mountains in the Breede River Valley, seeks an enthusiastic, proactive individual with a good work ethic and strong leadership, communication and team skills for this exciting position. A relevant qualifi cation (B.Agric or B.Sc), 6 years’ experience in vineyard management and winemaking as well as a sound professional knowledge of vineyards and winemaking processes will complete the candidate profile. The successful applicant will report to the board of directors and will be responsible for: • vineyard management and development • the entire winemaking process • people management • negotiations with suppliers • adhering to company and statutory health & safety statutory requirements • ensures all administration regarding the wine process and movement is kept as well as any other tasks the job might require.
