A tertiary agricultural qualification (BSc/BAgri) and approximately 5-6 years relevant experience in the procurement, supply chain and logistics of agricultural products are further requirements for this position. Candidates with technical knowledge of agricultural products and materials used in products and processes will be given preference. The successful candidate will report to the Chief Executive Officer and responsibilities include: •proven insight into supply chain management, procurement, and project management •knowledge and experience of inventory planning, purchasing, competitive pricing, budgets, and selection of suppliers •direct and regular liaising with all role players among other clients, agents, suppliers, operating institutions, and export companies •excellent communication ability •providing technical product support to clients and agents •involved in research, development, and identification of suitable products •develop, implement, and evaluate the commercial strategy for Nexus projects among other NexNutri, NexFume and NexH2O through collaborative alignment with other critical divisions and stakeholders •market research to ensure growth and profitability of Nexus projects •take initiative in resolving commercial matters that may arise •all administrative tasks related to the position.
