Namaqua Wines in Vredendal has a position available for a dynamic and energetic winemaker to join their Spruitdrift team. The ability to function well in a team and work well in a fast paced environment is essential to the role. The successful candidate will report to the Cellar Master and will be responsible for (but not be limited to): *coordination of harvest activities *the entire winemaking process *blending and stabilization of wine *liaison with grape producers *management of food safety and quality control systems (FSSC22000) *inventory management and product administration *cellar staff management *all other functions related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • A relevant qualification in Viticulture and Oenology; • Minimum 5-8 years' experience in a similar position; • Excellent computer proficiency; • Valid driver's license.
