Boplaas 1743 Estate, situated in the Simondium area, currently has the above position available for a confident marketing specialist in the fruit industry. The ideal candidate has the ability to identify opportunities, is deadline driven, analytical, and has excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Afrikaans & English). The incumbent will work closely with the Operational Director and Marketing Director, and be responsible for: *Building and maintaining relationships with all relevant stakeholders (producers, clients, and marketers) *Market research and identification of opportunities *Product need analysis of markets *Planning and scheduling of sales *Local and international marketing of fruit *Managing of all logistical functions *Brand Development *All other tasks related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Relevant marketing qualification; • 5 – 10 years’ proven experience in the local fruit industry, especially local retail exposure, distribution networks and supply chain (International experience will be beneficial); • Excellent computer proficiency; • Knowledge of packhouse environments will be advantageous.
