Philagro SA, a leading supplier of quality agricultural products, has an opportunity available for an ambitious Row Crop expert to become a Technical Product Manager. The main focus of the role will be to build a client base and drive their offering in the row crop industry (maize, soybeans, sunflowers, peanuts & dried beans). The successful candidate will report to the Technical Marketing Manager, working across all row crop regions in South Africa. Duties will be focused on plant growth regulators & mycorrhizae, and will include *technical support at grower & agent level *product training of distributing agents *sales of products relevant to row crops *management of budgets *product stewardship *all other tasks related to the role. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • A relevant BSc qualification (MSc preferred); • 5 - 8 years' experience, specifically with row crops; • A background with plant physiology will be beneficial; • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English); • Willingness to travel.
