Our client, a key player in the production and export of fresh fruit, is looking for a dynamic individual to lead their production teams across five (5) apple and pear production units in the Langkloof Region (Eastern Cape). If you have excellent leadership skills, strong commercial acumen, and an inclination for technological innovation in the production of fruit, then this role is for you! The primary focus area for the role will be the effective and optimal management of production across the five (5) units (220 hectares), including the accompanying financial-, personnel-, and overall facilities management. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Relevant degree in agriculture; • 10 - 15 Years’ experience in apple/pear production in a similar managerial role; • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English); • Willingness to travel.
