As a Director, the successful incumbent will work collaboratively with a dynamic team to manage financial considerations related to current projects in the agriculture and not-for-profit sectors; as well as provide strategic and innovative input into additional businesses opportunities/spin-off SMEs. Tasks will include: *financial planning & modelling *business development & advice *oversight and control of the financial & accounting functions * financial reporting to various stakeholders *and all other related tasks. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Chartered Accountant, Management Accountant (or similar professional qualification); • 5-10 years' experience in the agricultural industry; • In-depth knowledge of financial legal requirements, company law & business best practice; • This is potentially a work from home position, with travel to sites (rural areas across EC & WC) and Cape Town Head Office when required.
