Wine Tasting Ambassador Merwida Wine Cellar in the Picturesque Breedekloof Wine Valley seeks a person with a charismatic personality and positive approach to life. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: • the friendly reception of guests in the Merwida Tasting Room • presenting wine tastings • handling of wine sales • providing information to visitors about Merwida Wine Cellar and its products • inventory control • assistance with marketing activities and related administrative tasks. The following criteria applies: • ability to make guests’ visits to Merwida Wine Cellar special • excellent language proficiency in Afrikaans and English • professional appearance and conduct • thorough knowledge of wine (experience in a similar position will count in candidates' favour) • general knowledge of South Africa and the wine industry • computer literacy • willingness to work scheduled Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
