Calitzdorp Wine Cellar on the most famous Route 62 in the Klein Karoo has an exciting new opportunity for a dynamic and goal-orientated Winemaker with the ability to work within a team environment. The Winemaker will be responsible for (but not limited to): *the full wine preparation process *fermentation *blending and stabilisation of wines *managing quality control systems *preparation for bottling *cellar staff management *cellar administration *management of operating systems (IPW, WIETA) *marketing initiatives *cellar hygiene. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Diploma / Degree in Viticulture and Oenology; • At least 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar position; • Driver’s license and own reliable transport; • Excellent computer proficiency; • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English).
