The Assistant Winemaker will be responsible for (but not limited to): *coordination of harvest activities *aftercare, blending and stabilization of wine *inventory control and cellar hygiene *winemaking process with the Winemaker *control and supervision of cellar staff * liaison on bottle wine sales, wine tastings and promotions *all administrative functions related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Senior certificate; • Diploma / Degree in Viticulture and Oenology; • Driver’s license and own reliable transport; • Excellent computer proficiency; • Knowledge of wine, the blending process and record keeping; • Relevant experience will count in the applicant’s favour.
