Live-In Caretaker/Companion Our client, situated in the Sea Point area, is seeking an emotionally compatible, mature candidate to take care of an independent, mentally challenged young woman. The successful candidate will have experience working in the field of special needs. At least a Senior Certificate (Matric), a teaching or nursing diploma and a valid driver’s license are further prerequisites, while experience of psychiatric care would be an advantage. English as a first language is essential and applicants must be able to live-in or stay overnight while on duty. The successful applicant will be required to work flexi-hours. Duties will include transporting the young woman to art, pottery, horse-riding classes and the theatre. There will also be general housekeeping and caretaking as well as all other duties usually associated with the position. In return, our client offers a competitive salary and housing.
