Pink Valley Wines, situated on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain, currently has the following exciting position available: Restaurant/Tasting Room Manager This is an excellent career opportunity for a person with a positive, energetic and enthusiastic approach to life and who can function well under pressure. The ideal applicant is a team player with good communication skills (verbal and written) in Afrikaans and English. A Senior Certificate, tertiary qualification in Hospitality or a Business-related field, minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position, thorough computer literacy (MS Office), a driver’s license and own transport are pre-requisites. The successful applicant must be willing to work long hours, weekends and public holidays. A third language would be to the candidate’s advantage. The successful candidate's duties include (but is not limited to): * management of the restaurant and tasting room and all related aspects * staff management *customer relations management * arrangement of functions and related events * stock control * hosting guests *all ad hoc administrative tasks.
