Assistant Winemaker Groot Constantia Estate, located in Constantia, needs an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and leadership skills. A tertiary qualification in Viticulture and Oenology, a driver’s license and own transport, as well as excellent computer proficiency, are pre-requisites for this position. Relevant experience, international or local, will count strongly in the applicant's favour. The Assistant Winemaker will be responsible for *coordination of harvest activities * aftercare, blending and stabilization of wine * inventory control and cellar hygiene * the winemaking process with Cellar Master * control and supervision of cellar staff * liaison on bottle wine sales, wine tastings and promotions * all administrative functions related to the position.
