Finex SA, situated in the beautiful Paarl region, currently has the following exciting position available: LOGISTICS IMPORT AND EXPORT COORDINATOR The successful candidate is an organised, dynamic and self-motivated person who can work accurately under pressure, and has experience working with Agribusiness. A senior certificate, minimum two (2) years’ experience in a similar position, excellent computer skills (especially in Excel and ShipShape), excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English (verbal and written), and a driver’s license and own transport are pre-requisites for this position. A tertiary qualification in logistics and proficiency in a third language will be to the candidate’s advantage. The successful candidate will report to the Group General Manager and responsibilities include (but is not limited to): • proactive management of all international accounts • executing required export documentation for multiple accounts • timely management of multiple lines of communication between all stakeholders • ensure compliance with customs, export, applicable foreign trade/importation laws and applicable federal transport regulations • initiate timely invoicing and work closely with finance department to ensure billing accuracy • identify risks and opportunities when developing logistics plan • process freights claims and customer complaints • personnel management • all aspects regarding logistics control • all other tasks associated with the position.
