Tasting Room Manager The successful candidate is a friendly, dynamic, self-motivated, bilingual individual that is able to work independently, and should have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English. A driver’s license, own transport, and previous experience in a similar position, and knowledge of South African wine are pre-requisites for the position. A relevant qualification in wine or management and a third language will be to the candidate’s advantage. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: * tasting room management (staff, stock and cash management) * facilities management (cleanliness, maintenance, liaison between property and restaurant) * sales (direct sales and to trade clients) * social media (content creation, copywriting, basic design, basic website management) * accounting (basic bookeeping and invoicing) * events management (event permit application, supplier coordination, event management on the day of the event) * hosting (VIP visitors to the property, wine shows, wine promotions).
