Maintenance Manager The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the total maintenance and construction function on all company assets. Duties and Responsibilities: • Management and motivation of all personnel under your control • Manage the technical repair and maintenance • Management of electrical maintenance and construction needs • Overseeing of all construction work as needed • Management of the maintenance of all buildings and machinery • Manage the procurement of all materials and goods as needed for this function • Participate in budgeting and control of the agreed budget • Stock control for this function Requirements: • Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in the Fruit industry • Relevant tertiary qualification • Excellent computer skills • Must be a team player and be able to work independently and pro-actively • Excellent communication skills • Detail orientated • Basic knowledge of hydraulics. • Basic knowledge of all types of welding. • Excellent time management, planning and preparation ability. The successful candidate must be willing to work night shift/day shift and be willing to be part of the maintenance team outside the fruit-packing period.
