Electrician / Millwright Tokara Wine and Olive Farm based in Stellenbosch, is looking to employ a qualified Electrician with a N4/N5 qualification/ Millwright to join their team. The ideal candidate must have excellent fault finding and problem-solving skills, experience in a Winery environment and value teamwork in a positive work culture. Key responsibilities will include the following: •Daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance as per schedules and maintaining records •Breakdown fault finding, repairs, improvements and installation of all electrical, electronic, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment •Overseeing small projects and assisting with larger projects •Maintaining spare parts •Setting up production lines and correct line problems •Ensuring that production lines are running to its best technical level and other ad hoc duties related to this position REQUIREMENTS •A minimum of 4 years’ working experience in the Wine industry •Experience on Drives/PLC’s/Network computers •Experience in single and 3 phases •Experience in the following would be advantageous: water and vacuum pumps, blowers, chillers, high level of electronic fault finding, compressors, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment •The ability to read technical/electrical and electronic drawings and diagrams •Good written and verbal communication skills •Good numeracy skills and computer literacy. •Driver’s license and must have reliable transport.
