PAYROLL CLERK The abovementioned position is for a candidate who is well organised with strong numerical abilities. A relevant tertiary qualification, 2 -3 years’ experience in a similar position and computer literacy (VIP Payroll and Excel - Intermediate) are requirements for this position. Experience in the construction industry and a working knowledge of Sage People will count to the applicant’s advantage. The successful applicant’s duties and responsibilities include the following * payroll administration * handling day to day payroll queries * collect and verify timekeeping information for employees * calculate pay according to hours worked, overtime and other deductions * filing * basic reporting * all administrative functions related to this position.
