A relevant qualification with 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position in the farming industry will be to the applicant's advantage. Sound knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance is further pre-requisites, as well as a valid driver’s license. The duties include the general maintenance of all estate buildings • daily inspection of estate buildings • general repairs •wood work• electrical maintenance • managing water filter system • stock control and ordering of parts with the farm manager • ensuring compliance with safety regulations • management of workshop • all other maintenance and administrative functions related to the position.
