Vondeling Wines, situated on the slope of the Paardeberg mountain in Paarl, has a position available for a hands-on Stock Control Officer. The successful candidate will be someone that has good interpersonal skills, that is able to think analytically and solve problems, and has excellent administration skills. A relevant diploma and two years’ experience in a similar position is a requirement for this role. The candidate must possess proficient computer skills, while knowledge of EzyWine and the possession of a forklift licence will be to the applicant’s advantage. The Stock Control Officer is responsible for controlling the stock of the company and following up on debtors, which include the following: • Invoicing and Deliveries: -Invoicing clients -Following up on deliveries • Debtor Control: -Loading of new customers onto EzyWine -Compiling debtor statements -Following-up on clients in order to collect outstanding debts -Issuing debtor receipts • Stock Management: -Capture and maintain stock in warehouse locations on EZY Wine -Monthly stock takes and inventory control -Compile weekly stock reports -Receiving and dispatch administration -Attending to the general administration of the stock management process In return, our client offers a market-related salary.
