Mezzanine Ware (Pty) Ltd a market leader in the development of mobile business solutions, located in South Africa, has the following position available: Chief Sales Officer The applicant must have exceptional interpersonal skill with a proven ability to build and lead an ICT solution sales team in Sub-Sahara Africa (SSA). The applicant should be comfortable with regular C-level engagements, in both the public and private sector and have a strong complex ICT solution sales-, business development- and negotiations skills. A relevant tertiary qualification as well as a minimum of 5 years’ experience in complex ICT solution and/or service sales and sales team management are required. Excellent presentation and professional communication skills, as well as a high proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel are further requirements for this position. Sub-Sahara African work experience in an ICT solutions environment will be to the candidate’s advantage. The successful applicant’s duties and responsibilities include, among other: • deliver Mezzanine’s quarterly and annual sales and margin targets across all its operating territories • build and manage all Mezzanine’s sales teams across supported sales channels in Sub-Sahara Africa • develop and implement a best-in-class go-to-market strategy that is country, industry (e.g. health, agriculture) and market segment (e.g. public, private) specific • business development – develop and implement a growth strategy, new sales channels, team structure, reward structure and support processes • serve on the Mezzanine Executive Committee and perform all other management related tasks related to this position.
