Our client, a well-known restaurant in the Paarl area requires a talented, dynamic chef with a positive attitude to fill the following position: CHEF DE PARTIE The successful candidate will be tasked with the full responsibility for the running of the section required, ordering of products, quality and quantity control of product, performing duties and following instructions to the fullest and with a high standard of hygiene Experience/Skills Required: • Matric/Grade 12 • A culinary diploma from a recognized training institution • Must be in the role of a Chef de Partie and must have at least 2 years’ experience as a Commis Chef prior to being a CDP • A valid driver’s license and own transport • The ability to work under pressure and to be flexible at all times • Must be a team player • Motivated, enthusiastic, energetic, creative and passionate • Excellent communication skills In return our client offers a competitive salary, commensurate with the extent to which the above criteria are met.
