A relevant tertiary qualifications, 5 - 8 years’ relevant experience as well as a proven sales track record in the food industry are requirements for this position. The General Manager is responsible for the overall management function, including the following duties: • financial management • strategic management • marketing management • stratetic &overall management of the guest house • oversight of olive oil production, olive fermentation and vinegar production • responsible for excellent product quality • cost-effective production systems • overall management of quality systems (for example, ISO 22000 and HACCP) • implementing Health and Safety Guidelines • liaising with other departments to achieve production goals • management and motivation of personnel • drafting and management of budgets • all other ad hoc tasks related to this position.
