WILD CLOVER BREWERIES, a boutique brewery, nestled in the picturesque town of Stellenbosch, currently has a vacancy for the following position Accounting & Administrative Manager The successful candidate is a loyal, structured and emotional intelligent person with very strong business acumen, whom functions well independently, as well in a group, and can operate in a small and dynamic environment. A B. COMM degree with completed SAICA/SAIPA articles with 2 years’ experience in a similar environment is preferable. Computer literacy, Pastel knowledge and the ability to function in a bilingual (Afr. & Eng.) environment is not negotiable. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the following: * all accounting and administrative procedures that is applicable to the operations of the company (brewery and production, festivals, functions, retail area, restaurant) * process costing calculations & capturing * orders & invoicing * stock control & reconciliations, stock counts and movement analysis * salaries & wages * debtors & creditors control * VAT calculations, reconciliations and submissions * budgeting and cash flow * asset register control * monthly close, reporting and analysis. The role will also require the candidate being dynamic in the implementing of systems of good control, the refining of and further development thereof, as well as the creating of proper working papers that will be reviewed by the group financial manager. There is the possibility that the role will require involvement in logistics, marketing and sales from time to time.
