VITICULTURIST Our client, an established wine estate situated in the Stellenbosch area, has the above opportunity for an enthusiastic person with a commercial attitude, good work ethic and the ability to work within a team environment. A relevant qualification (Viticulture), 3 to 5 years experience as well as a sound knowledge of viticulture are pre requisites. Duties and responsibilities would include, but not be limited to the following: • Full implementation of annual viticultural program in conjunction with the Winemaker, Viticultural Consultant, Management of Vineyard and Farm Staff. • Management of seasonal contractors. • Monthly cost control and annual budget compilation. • Compliance with all statutory/industry quality control systems (Wieta/IPW) • All other duties relevant to the position of Viticulturist.
