Our client, a well-established animal and olive farm located in the Touws River Valley, has the above position available: This is a challenging and exciting opportunity for a good communicator with outstanding personnel, planning and managerial skills. An appropriate tertiary qualification, experience in a similar managerial position, as well as good practical/technical skills, are prerequisites. The candidate must have a good working knowledge of mechanical/general farm management, while computer literacy will count in the applicant’s favour. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: • animal husbandry (cattle, sheep, poultry and farm horses) • general maintenance of the farm and its equipment • farm administration • field and environment management • olive farming • oil production and all other ad hoc tasks normally associated with this position.
