PRODUCTION MANAGER Our client, a dynamic agri-producer in the Muldersvlei area, is offering an opportunity for an enthusiastic, competitive person with good work ethic, leadership and communication skills as well as the ability to work within a team environment. The position requires: * a relevant tertiary qualification in agriculture or horticulture * 3-5 years relevant experience in intensive plant production * sound knowledge of greenhouse hydroponic growing techniques * ability to accurately monitor, assess and manage plant growth * experience of quality and health and safety management systems * Mechanical insight and computer literacy (Excel and Outlook) are further pre requisites for this position. The successful applicant will report to the CEO and will be responsible for: management of all aspects of production to ensure seedlings are grown to client specifications and timing * maintenance planning of production equipment, greenhouses, irrigation equipment, buildings and infrastructure * implementing company and statutory health and safety requirements * personnel management * production reporting * all other duties associated with such a position.
