The ideal candidate is a passionate, energetic and well-accomplished Winemaker, a strong leader, innovative thinker and a loyal ambassador. A relevant tertiary qualification in Viticulture & Oenology, 8-10 years of premium winemaking experience along with a show case of several award winning wines, are pre requisites for this position. The Winemaker rapports to the General Manager and is responsible for, among other: coordinating harvesting activities * the wine making process * blending and stabilisation of wines * managing quality control systems * bottling of wines * presenting tastings and supporting the marketing effort * research and development * personnel management * cellar administration and all other tasks that are normally associated with such a position.
