Cape Point Vineyards, located in the beautiful Chapmans Peak Estate in Noordhoek, currently has the following vacancy: MARKETING MANAGER The successful candidate will be an innovative thinker and experienced leader, able to work under pressure with extraordinary communication, planning, execution and people skills. A proven track record in wine marketing or similar in the FMCG industry is essential, along with the relevant tertiary qualifications. (Bachelor’s degree/Honours degree in marketing or alike). Sales experience in the wine industry and WSET Advance Wine Qualification or a similar wine industry qualification will be a definite advantage. The successful candidate will work closely with the Winemaker, the sales team, the hospitality team as well as the admin team and his/her duties will include the following: * indentifying & targeting new international markets * key account management * running innovative social media campaigns * effective media and client liaison * management and control of all agents * determining and management of sales targets and marketing budgets * national sales and marketing functions * attending and organizing promotions/functions * market research and all other tasks related to this postion.
