Our client, a well-established winery in the Breedekloof wine valley, currently has the above vacancy. The successful candidate is energetic and ambitious, with a passion for the South African wine industry. ±5 Years’ management experience (as a Winemaker) as well as a relevant tertiary qualification in winemaking are requirements for this position. Experience in wine marketing (local and international) would count in the applicant’s advantage as marketing would be the focus of this role. The applicant will report directly to the board and is responsible for the overall management function that includes the following: • Oversight of the production process (wines, vines and producers) • Strategic planning • Marketing management (Bulk and bottle, local and international) • Overall financial and budgetary management • Personnel management.
