Our client, an IT services and solutions provider situated in Paarl, is seeking the services of an analytical, process driven individual to form part of their team.

The successful candidate will have strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: *Administer network and data security, including Active Directory, Group Policy, firewalls, antivirus protection, VoIP, and email security *Perform data backups to ensure all client data is securely stored and recoverable *Install and implement network system upgrades and improvements *Install and configure wireless networking equipment *Install and maintain network cabling *Monitor servers, LAN/WAN, VoIP, and Wi-Fi systems to ensure optimal performance and coverage *Assist with the design, implementation, and support of new software, hardware, and system features *Diagnose and resolve connectivity, hardware, and software issues *Respond to IT-related issues involving hardware, software, networking, and system maintenance *Provide helpdesk and technical support via phone, remote access, or on-site visits *Troubleshoot and resolve system errors *Set up equipment for new users and employees *Consult with vendors and clients to integrate and update company technology *Ensure optimal performance and utilization of all technology resources *Maintain and manage the asset register.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

• Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field;

• Approximately 2 years' experience in a similar IT support position;

• A+, N+, and MCSE certifications will be advantageous;

• Knowledge of IT networks, Microsoft products, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365;

• Knowledge of UniFi products, analogue and IP CCTV systems will be advantageous;

• Experience troubleshooting issues and installing third-party applications;

• Valid driver's licence.
