Our client, a dynamic and innovative company specialising in demolition, bulk earthworks, and crushing services, has a position available for a Plant Administrator based in Philippi, Cape Town.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
Duties and responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to): *Ensure all operators are issued with and maintain daily workbooks *Record, allocate, and manage daily workbook documentation *Collect, verify, and process operator workbook slips *Compile daily plant hours per machine and update Plant Cost Monitoring Sheets *Verify plant hours against tracker systems and record breakdowns where applicable *Scan and file documentation on the internal cloud system under the relevant client folders *Submit weekly Plant Cost Monitoring Reports to the Group Admin Manager *Monitor daily plant movements and update client boards accordingly *Maintain control and secure handling of plant documentation *Manage daily workbook stock levels *Assist with the workshop purchase order system in conjunction with the Workshop Admin Clerk *Perform general administrative duties and any additional tasks related to the role.
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• Matric required;
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar administrative role;
• Previous experience in the plant industry is essential;
• Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English;
• Valid driver's license, and own reliable transport.
