Our client, a service provider within the food safety industry, is seeking a Sales & Business Development Consultant to service clients across the Free State, Lesotho, North West and Northern Cape areas.

This is a remote role and the successful candidate should ideally be based in Central Free State.

The successful candidate will focus on developing new business, maintaining client relationships and supporting the achievement of sales targets. Regular travel and occasional overnight stays will form part of the role.

Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): *Conduct cold calling, follow-up calls and client meetings *Identify and develop new business opportunities *Maintain relationships with existing clients *Prepare proposals, quotations, service agreements and basic costings *Compile sales budgets, reports and market-related information *Present monthly sales results to management *Coordinate client projects and training interventions *Maintain accurate information on the CRM system *Represent the company professionally during all client interactions * All other tasks related to this role.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:

• A relevant qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field;

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales or business development;

• Proven experience in cold calling and developing new business opportunities;

• Experience within the food industry will be advantageous;

• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English, with strong communication skills;

• Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems;

• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport;

• Willing and able to travel, including overnight stays when required;

• A professional and well-equipped home office setup.
