Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing residential construction company specialising in the delivery of high-quality residential developments across the Cape Winelands. Built on a reputation for quality workmanship, professionalism, and strong client relationships, the company has two exciting opportunities for organised and detail-oriented professionals to join its commercial team, with one position based in Paarl and the other in Stellenbosch.


This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and enjoys combining procurement administration, cost control, supplier coordination, and site support. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring construction projects run efficiently through accurate procurement processes and disciplined cost administration. This is a hands-on, site-based role offering the opportunity to grow with an ambitious company where your contribution directly supports the successful delivery of every project.


Key Responsibilities: *Manage the end-to-end procurement administration process, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders and supplier documentation *Process and capture supplier invoices accurately while ensuring costs are allocated to the correct projects and cost codes *Monitor procurement activities, identify discrepancies, and assist with cost control and budget tracking *Liaise with suppliers, site teams, and the commercial department to ensure the timely procurement and delivery of materials *Maintain accurate procurement records, filing systems and supporting documentation to ensure audit readiness *Prepare procurement reports and provide administrative support to construction and commercial teams *Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and contribute to the efficient delivery of construction projects *Work closely with Construction Managers, Foremen, and Quantity Surveyors to ensure procurement requirements are processed efficiently.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

• Matric required;

• 2–3 years' experience in procurement, administration, finance, accounting, or commercial support;

• Experience within the construction, engineering, manufacturing, or project-based environment will be advantageous;

• Basic understanding of procurement processes and cost administration;

• Strong computer literacy with good Microsoft Excel skills;

• Experience working with ERP or procurement systems will be advantageous;

• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail;

• Own reliable transport is essential;

• Willing and able to work on active construction sites.
