Slanghoek Wine Cellar, a prestigious wine cellar in the beautiful Slanghoek Valley near Rawsonville, is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the team. Reporting to the General Manager, they are looking for a hands-on problem solver with strong planning skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.

This role is responsible for ensuring that the cellar's equipment, machinery, and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standard, supporting safe and efficient day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will oversee preventative, planned, and corrective maintenance, as well as repairs and installations across electrical, mechanical, and civil infrastructure, while ensuring compliance with good manufacturing and engineering practices.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): *Personnel and contractor management *Project management *Budget management *Stock control, sourcing and procurement of materials *Health and Safety compliance *Maintenance administration and audit documentation *Annual maintenance planning and scheduling *Prioritising and coordinating maintenance activities *Performing any other duties related to the role *All other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Relevant technical/trade qualification (Millwright/Electrical/Mechanical);

• At least 5-7 years' experience in a similar role in a factory- or production environment;

• Sound knowledge of Health & Safety, and relevant quality system principles;

• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English);

• Computer proficiency (MS Office);

• Valid license and own reliable transport.
