Lakenvlei Boerdery, an established farming business situated in the Ceres area, is looking to appoint a Junior Production Manager to join their team at one of their production units.

This role is ideal for a dynamic individual looking to expand their knowledge and skills, and grow with the company.

The successful candidate has excellent organisational and leadership capabilities, and will report to Farm Manager. Responsibilities will include: *Assisting with the management of all production-related activities, from planting to harvesting *Workforce management, training, and enforcement of discipline *Implementation, monitoring, and reporting of production-related systems *Assisting in ensuring compliance with quality standards and certifications *Cost control *Recordkeeping *General farm maintenance *All other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Matric required, a relevant tertiary agricultural qualification will be advantageous;

• Experience in fruit production, especially pome fruit and cherry production, is preferred;

• Strong communication skills (Afrikaans & English);

• Strong computer skills (MS Office);

• Valid driver’s license.
