Iwayini Company (Pty) Ltd., holding company for Villiera Wines & Neethlingshof, has the abovementioned exciting opportunity available based at Villiera Wines, situated in Koelenhof near Stellenbosch.


This position requires a professional blend of sales acumen, exceptional relationship management, and strong analytical capabilities.


Responsibilities will include: *Strategic Account Management: Manage the Woolworths account, which a key account of company revenue; Drive annual strategic plans to grow volume and value for all Iwayini-owned brands (Neethlingshof and Villiera); Lead annual pricing, trading term negotiations, and promotional planning; Review performance monthly/quarterly, analyse KPIs, and recommend improvements; Build strong relationships across Woolworths buying, planning, and logistics teams. *Third-Party Supplier Management: Manage relationships with private-label wine clients; Oversee contracts, volumes, quality standards, and SLAs; Act as main point of contact to ensure smooth service from sourcing to delivery (bottling services cellar); Monitor profitability, input costs, and annual pricing negotiations. *Supply Chain & Production Data Management: Provide accurate sales forecasts (3–6 and 12–18 months) by SKU; Communicate demand forecasts to the Winery Production Manager; Partner with Logistics to manage stock levels, prevent out-of-stocks, and reduce obsolescence.


Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce or related field;

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Key Account Management, ideally within the FMCG or premium beverage industry;

• Experience dealing directly with major South African retailers (Woolworths, Pick n Pay, Shoprite) is highly advantageous;

• Solid understanding of the wine industry, including category management, trade marketing, and basic wine production terminology;

• Proven ability to build strong, collaborative business relationships;

• Advanced computer literacy (MS Office, specifically Excel).
