Our client, a wine estate based in Durbanville, has an exciting opportunity for a driven and customer-focused Tasting Room Supervisor with excellent interpersonal skills and wine knowledge to join their team.

This role will primarily be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the tasting room and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Duties will include (but not be limited to): *Overseeing daily operational activities in the Tasting Room & leading the Tasting Room team *Assisting with daily floor- and back-of-house management *Representing the brand by selling wine and associated products & services *Conducting exceptional wine tastings *Controlling expenditure *Stock management *Handling enquiries, requests and complaints *Wine Club Coordination *Attending special events, trade shows and sales meetings when required *All other duties related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

• Matric required, a WSET / Sommelier certification will be highly advantageous;

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in wine sales / a wine tasting room environment, including supervisory experience;

• Computer literacy (MS Office);

• Must be fluent in English;

• Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle;

• Willingness to work hours as per industry requirements.
