Our client, a leading international company in the agricultural sector, is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Production Manager to oversee large-scale fruit production operations at their branch in India. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a global organization driving innovation, efficiency, and sustainability in modern farming.
Responsibilities:
• Take overall responsibility for farm production operations, ensuring all activities are planned, coordinated, and executed efficiently.
• Oversee the installation and management of farm infrastructure, including irrigation systems, drainage, tunnels, roads, and other facilities, coordinating with suppliers and contractors.
• Develop, manage, and monitor operational budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and resource optimization.
• Lead teams across crop management, labor planning, and operational execution to meet production targets and KPI’s.
• Collaborate with suppliers, service providers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operational workflows and timely delivery of projects.
• Drive continuous improvement in farm practices through data-driven decision-making and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with quality, food safety, and sustainability standards.
Minimum Requirements:
• A degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy, or related field;
• 5–10 years’ experience in farm production or agricultural management, ideally within the fruit industry;
• Proven experience in budgeting, operational planning, and supplier management;
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, fluent in English (written and spoken).
