EXSA, a leading exporter of table grapes based in Paarl (Western Cape), has an opportunity available for a detail-oriented and well-organised Accountant who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The primary focus of the role is to manage the full creditors function, ensuring accurate processing, reconciliations, and payments. The successful candidate will also assist with banking, financial administration, and audit preparation, and provide internal financial support as required. In addition, a proactive approach to improving and automating systems and processes will be essential to succeed in this role.

The successful candidate will report to the Financial Manager and duties will include: *Manage the full creditors function *Process and reconcile bank transactions *Prepare payment schedules *Reconcile supplier accounts *Manage packing material accounts *Support audit preparation *Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives *all other tasks related to the role.

Essential minimum qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance;

• 3-5 years' experience in a similar position;

• Excellent computer proficiency, specifically in Microsoft Excel and Sage Pastel;

• Experience in the export of fresh produce, a working knowledge of DiPAR, and understanding of exchange rate calculations will be beneficial;

• Willingness to work overtime during peak season (December - March);

• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English).
