Our client, a wine estate situated in the famous Stellenbosch wine region, has an opportunity for a Financial Manager with excellent knowledge of financial management concepts, principles and procedures, to join their team.

The ideal candidate is a self-driven and innovative individual with strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and thrives under pressure.

The incumbent will report to the Managing Director and be responsible for: *Full accounting function *Cash flow planning *Working capital management *Budgeting *Management accounts *Financial compliance- Excise, VAT, PAYE, WCA and UK VAT *Maintaining relationship with the bank *Managing local and foreign treasury *Business software (EZY) integrity management *all other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:

• BCom Hons degree required, qualification as CA(SA) preferred;

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position in a relevant industry;

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Company-, and Tax Law;

• Strong computer proficiency (MS Office & accounting software).
