Philagro SA, a leading supplier of quality agricultural products, has the above opportunity available for an experienced Product Manager (Technical and Sales) with a passion for the citrus industry, as well as avocados and macadamias, to join their technical team.

The position will primarily cover the Northern areas (Limpopo and Mpumalanga) with occasional travel to the Southern regions. The ability to build relationships based on trust and technical expertise is essential to the role.

The successful candidate will report to the Commercial and Marketing Manager (North), and key focus areas will include (but not be limited to): *Technical support at grower and agent level *Product training *Demand creation and selling the value proposition of the Philagro portfolio *Developing crop plans and business opportunities *Developing and managing budgets for the sales area and product range *Product stewardship *Ongoing research and development *All other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

• Relevant BSc qualification or similar (MSc preferred);

• 5-8 years' experience in a similar role, with extensive citrus expertise (avos and macadamias advantageous), including the ability to develop programmes for increased production, and crop protection;

• Proven track record in sales of plant growth regulators and crop protection products;

• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English);

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
