Our client, a leading grower, packer and exporter of fresh fruit, has the abovbementioned position available at their citrus and table grape farm, based in Clainwilliam. The main focus of the role is to manage all aspects of farm production and operations, ensuring optimal productivity, quality, and profitability.

Duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): *Production: Planting of table grapes; Irrigation scheduling; Application of fertilizer; Pest and plague control; Pruning, harvesting and monitoring of manipulations *Personnel and Administration: Labour planning and management; Recordkeeping; transport and accommodation planning *Maintemence of equipment and orchards *Any additional tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Matric with a relevant agricultural tertiary qualification;

• At least 1-2 years’ of relevant experience in the cultivation of table grapes;

• Basic knowledge of modern production practices;

• Specific knowledge/experience in irrigation practices will be advantageous;

• Table grape production experience will be advantageous;

• Good computer literacy (MS Office, especially Excel);

• Driver’s license and own reliable transport.
