Our client, a reputable company based in Paarl, is looking for a qualified Service Technician to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with industrial catering equipment, providing expert service and maintenance both on-site and off-site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Perform thorough servicing and repair of a wide range of industrial catering equipment, ensuring all machinery operates efficiently and safely *Conduct detailed troubleshooting and diagnostic assessments to identify electrical and mechanical faults promptly and accurately *Carry out preventative maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery *Respond to service calls both on-site at client locations and off-site in the workshop, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability *Collaborate closely with clients to understand their equipment issues, provide technical advice, and recommend appropriate solutions *Maintain accurate service records, job reports, and parts inventory to ensure efficient workflow and accountability *Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment at all times *Continuously update technical knowledge and skills to keep pace with advancements in industrial catering equipment technology *Support the team by sharing insights and assisting with training junior technicians when required.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

• Certified Electrician (Red Seal Certification preferred);

• Strong mechanical aptitude, with proven troubleshooting skills;

• Experience with industrial catering equipment is highly advantageous;

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment;

• Valid driver’s license.
