Three Streams Smokehouse, situated at the foothills of the Franschhoek Mountains, currently has the abovementioned position available for a hands-on and system driven individual with strong work ethic to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Debtors: Invoicing, credit notes, and follow-ups; Weekly invoice factoring and customer emails; File documents, send sales reports, handle queries *Creditors: Capture invoices, forex contracts, BOP submissions; Process payments *Cashbook: Process and reconcile cashbooks; Manage petty cash and cashflow *Fixed Assets: Update register, depreciation, asset journals *Inventory: Stock invoice processing and journals *Month-end: Reconcile debtors and creditors; Send statements and process payments; Submit VAT and journals; Prepare management pack and audit documents *Year-end: Prepare full audit support to financials *General: Credit applications (supplier and customer); Sales reports and debtor insurance; Handle bank queries and Director requests *All other functions associated with this position.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or similar field;

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position;

• Excellent computer literateracy (MS Office, specifically Excel);

• Experience with Pastel Evolution and Pastel Partner (Pastel Payroll experience will be advantageous);

• Knowledge of inventory systems;

• Own reliable transport.
