CELLAR ASSISTANT

Badsberg Wine Cellar, located in the heart of the beautiful Breedekloof wine region, is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Cellar Assistant to join their team.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader, has excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality and innovation in a dynamic team environment.

As the Cellar Assistant, you will support daily cellar operations and gain invaluable hands-on experience in the production process and will be responsible for: *Assisting with general cellar work and cleaning *Supporting the winemaking team during harvest *Learning basic winemaking processes and practices *All other tasks related to this position.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

• Matric (Grade 12) is a minimum requirement;

• A keen willingness to learn and grow within a cellar environment;

• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport is essential;

• A passion for wine and production processes;

• Good physical condition and able to work flexible hours during harvest seasons;

• Previous cellar or harvest experience will be a strong advantage.

As die Kelder Assistent sal jy daaglikse kelderbedrywighede ondersteun en waardevolle praktiese ervaring in die produksieproses opdoen en sal verantwoordelik wees vir: *Hulp met algemene kelderwerk en skoonmaak *Ondersteuning van die wynmaakspan tydens oes *Leer basiese wynmaakprosesse en -praktyke *Alle ander take wat met hierdie pos verband hou.

Noodsaaklike kwalifikasies, vaardighede en ondervinding:

• Matriek (graad 12) is 'n minimum vereiste;

• 'n Groot bereidwilligheid om binne 'n kelderomgewing te leer en te groei;

• Geldige bestuurslisensie en eie betroubare vervoer is noodsaaklik;

• 'n Passie vir wyn en produksieprosesse;

• Goeie fisiese toestand en in staat om buigsame ure te werk gedurende oesseisoene;

• Vorige kelder- of oeservaring sal 'n sterk voordeel wees.
