Our client, a nursery situated between Paarl and Wellington, Western Cape, has the abovementioned position available. The successful candidate is a passionate and driven individual with excellent people- and management skills.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Overseeing specific operational functions of the Nursery *Assisting with and monitoring production processes *Maintain high standard of quality control throughout all stages of plant growth *Supporting the maintenance of nursery facilities and equipment *Personnel management *Maintaining accurate and up to date records of irrigation and fertilization spray programs *All other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years' relevant work experience with vineyards or nurseries;

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture will be advantageous;

• Knowledge of relevant quality systems;

• Sound knowledge of viticulture;

• Excellent computer literacy (MS Office);

• Code 10 driver’s license with PDP.

Commencement date: As soon as possible.
