Our client, a growing online store specialising in high-quality children’s products, is looking for a reliable, proactive, and tech-savvy Customer Support & Operations Assistant to join their team based in Paarl, Western Cape.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and is ready to take ownership of operational processes that keep the business running smoothly.
Key performance areas will include: *Delivering excellent customer support via online platforms *Assisting customers with queries, returns, product recommendations, and design options *Managing and nurturing wholesale and collaborator relationships *Coordinating with the warehouse team for dispatch and inventory control *Monitoring stock levels and keeping internal systems and the Shopify store up to date *Using tools like Shopify, Google Sheets, Wave, and payment platforms to manage operations *Capturing content in line with marketing agency briefs *all other tasks related to the role.
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• Grade 12, a relevant qualification will be advantageous;
• Previous experience in a similar role will be beneficial, but we are open to applicants who are eager to learn, adaptable, and demonstrate strong potential;
• Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel) and cloud-based tools;
• Excellent communication skills in English, Afrikaans will be advantageous;
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
